From the New York Times best-selling author of Sometimes I Lie.
"Richard Armitage and Stephanie Racine give an arresting performance of this dark psychological thriller.... As secrets are uncovered and additional bodies are found, Armitage and Racine shine with impeccable pacing, building tension that adds to the suspense." (AudioFile Magazine)
There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, his and hers. Which means someone is always lying.
When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation.
Someone isn’t telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.
His & Hers is a twisty, smart psychological thriller. A gripping tale of suspense, told by expertly drawn narrators that will keep listeners guessing until the very end.
A Macmillan Audio production from Flatiron Books
"[A] cunningly constructed psychological thriller.... This is a masterpiece of misdirection." (Publishers Weekly, starred review)
"Feeney offers a brilliant cat-and-mouse game...[a] volatile, tension- and thought-provoking mix." (Booklist)

Reseñas de la Crítica
"No one can plot - or write - a story like Alice Feeney. His & Hers is a stunning, addictive novel that makes you wonder who you can trust - if anyone. Captivating from beginning to end, this book should not be missed!" (Samantha Downing, best-selling author of My Lovely Wife)
"Feeney does it again! His & Hers is a twisty dual-narrative that gives Gone Girl a run for its money and leaves you wondering if you can trust anyone. I couldn't stop reading." (Christina Dalcher, best-selling author of Vox)
“The twists pile up...visceral and haunting.” (Oprah.com)

𝑯𝒊𝒔 & 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒔 was a brilliantly creative story that I decided to listen to as an audiobook. I recently said that I have a sort of gift. My gift is being able to pick the perfect book as an audiobook. It just seems like everything comes together when choosing the right one. The narrators are fantastic and their voices just fit right with the story. Believe me when I say the narrators really make the experience better. Almost better than the clever and creative writing from the author themselves.
Take 𝑯𝒊𝒔 & 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒔 for example. The shear genius (if you have been so lucky to have listened to this on audio) of having a man and woman alternating chapters to share their views in the story but then you also have this voice activated person come through as the killer sharing their thoughts. It was just deviously head on amazing if you ask me.
I loved all the characters in this story. The girls as teenagers was a bloody hot mess but this is a revenge story is it not? A very smart one too.
I want to mention one of my favorite lines in the story. I have to share the small paragraph to get to the line so you understand the conversation between DCI Jack Harper and DCI Pira.
Pira has made Jack coffee and even orders paper cups online because she knows he likes coffee from a paper cup. But his line at the end cracks me up! 😂
𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤: "Where did you find something that tastes this good, at this time around here?"
ℙ𝕚𝕣𝕒: "It's from Columbia."
𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: My response speaks a beat. "That's a long way to go"
*Her smile returns*
ℙ𝕚𝕣𝕒: "I made it for you at home before I left this morning. I thought you might need coffee I have a whole thermoset in the car but I know how you like it in a paper cup even though that is a little strange and bad for the environment. So, I ordered some online. The paper cups I mean. I just poured it when I saw you pulling in and so that it would be hot."
𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: I knew it. She's in love with me. I might be middle age but I still got it. 😂
Highly recommend this amazing story as an audiobook!
