Disturbing
I enjoy a thriller. I love true crime so can handle heavy subject matter. I love a good plot twist that I didn’t see coming.
I could have gone another 40 something years without this plot twist.
Excellent narration, the story didn’t go overly long but the suspenseful ending of every chapter got to be a little heavy-handed.
The ending was just too much.

Exciting and disturbing
It was filled with unexpected twists and had me sucked in. A couple of times I had to fast forward thru, but I loved how the author took risks and it all came together in a crazy interesting way that had me sucked in the whole time. Never boring for sure!

Great start —- terrible finish
Really enjoyed the beginning and middle… good pace, then it took a left turn at Albuquerque and went straight to crap. If I’d have tagged this book on the first half, 4-4.5/5 … ending, a 2. Also, should find a new editor for the inconsistencies that should have been caught.
