Great Story & Narration🎧 Sweet & Spicy🔥Romance!

This is an enjoyable, sweet and spicy small town romance, it is a fast paced story that grabs your attention and captivates it the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Jona and his friends want to bring the glory back to their small town Olde Oak, they come up with an idea to start with an old building in the center of town. They hire Parker, an interior designer, to update the space and make it function to their needs. Parker may be gorgeous and a great interior designer but his lack of enthusiasm for the town shows, so does his attitude. Jona is conflicted, he is attracted to him but knows Parker is not happy with small town living and when he crosses the line Jona and the group get fed up and agree to let him go. Parker knows he screwed up and convinces them him wants the job and to be there. Jona and Parker’s romance plays out nicely, the story is well plotted with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, some heartfelt and emotional moment and some hot romance. Love the small town charm and the camaraderie amongst the group of fiends, the next book is Fletcher and Conor’s story and the battle of the bakers should be very interesting.

🎧📚🎧 And for the terrific narration, Guillaume Dubois is a talented narrator and voice artist. He had a complete understanding of the characters he portrayed, giving each a voice that fit that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in the roles he played and just as I pictured the character to sound. He set the perfect tone for the story, handled the back-and-forth dialogue with ease never missing a beat. You could hear how much heart he put into his work as he captured the character’s emotions and projected them into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.Thank you for another great listen.

conflicts abound

An uncomfortable situation turns into a missed opportunity for a relationship! Great rebound into a second chance!! I liked that Parker was big enough to own up to his faux pax and try to make amends for it. What a twist at the end. I'm very curious where things go from there??? Hate versus love?? I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

Sweet story!

This is a well written and narrated story! This is a fantastic story that teaches us not to judge a place until you know more about it. This story is intriguing and a sweet M/M romance . I found it to be interesting and enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I definitely recommend this audiobook.
The narrator’s does a fantastic job with the characters and the voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters.

Sweet MM romance!!

I absolutely loved this story. Jonah lives in a small town with his best friends. Angered by a story that runs Old Oak down, they decide to invest and revitalize their community. They hire Parker, a straight talker who knows his judgmental tendencies can put people off. Jonah is sensitive to any slights against his home town, and Parker’s wayward text almost tanks everything. There’s no denying their strong physical chemistry, and they both start to recognize that they way the feel is once in a life-time stuff. The question is whether Parker is willing to take a chance on love, even if it means leaving the city for a quieter way of life.

I listened to this book in two bite-sized sittings. Really an enjoyable story, and the narration is on-point and excellent. Everybody gets their distinct voice. I really enjoyed it!

This Book Is Terrible

Wow, this is bad. It’s only 4 hours long and I can’t even finish it. The story is bad, the narration is bad, it’s all just bad. The supposed plot is unbelievable, the characters have no depth and are also unbelievable, and the sex/sex talk/sex imaginings sound like they were written by someone who had never had sex before and also has no imagination. Skip this book.
