To boring
After read'n/ listen'n to the book "Ten in Texas" (wonderful western) by A.H. Holt I so wanted to read another one of her books so I got "High Plains Fort".
I am sorry to say I did not enjoy this second book at all, I found it to be so boring I came so close on more than one occasion to delete'n the book.
I'm not given up on this author just because I didn't enjoy a book she wrote, but I do hope that the next (third) book will be full of western style action such as the first book was.
I will say this though about Ms Holt's books, her books do not have any foul language in them as some of the other westerns have that I have read and that is a very pleasant surprise, it's so nice to be able to read a good western and when you are finished you can pass it along to you's child. I truly hope I can find some more of Ms Holt's westerns that I enjoy and that I can pass along to me son.
