An excellent story let down by an extremely poor performance.

The story, as always, was excellent and another masterpiece by Capt. Miller! Unfortunately, the story is overshadowed by an impossibly poor performance. The narrator has no emotion in his reading, as if he were being forced to read against his will. There are many breath sounds and whistling from the narrator, as if the story was recorded on an iPhone.

Absolutely amazing book. If you like naval warfare books this is the best book you will read.

Amazing book. But the story dominates the technology. One of tge best books I ever read.

Outstanding Naval Aviation Story

This series is phenomenal. If you thought the TOPGUN movies were good, this is the real thing.
