When the crowd at the event honoring Quinn for his thirty years of service discovers that he’s gone missing, anxiety rises. Where is Quinn? Is foul play involved? Nicole’s reporter skills are ratcheted up and high school beau, Ethan is equally upset and helps Nicole on the search for Quinn. Whilst the hospital where Ethan is a doctor keeps trying to pull him back on duty early . . . A deputy finally finds Quinn’s abandoned vehicle . . . but NO QUINN. Besides, Quinn hates driving and usually prefers to walk everywhere he goes. Has he been kidnapped? Again, great story, involving those who knew Quinn way back when, as well as the townsfolk who know him now . . . I haven’t bought the next in the series, however, because I am protesting $2 for less than two hours of listening! This would be a good series to add to Audible Escape.

Wish there was more
I am loving this story, it's narration is amazing and the suspense, plot, and story line are great. what I don't like is that the book only has 9 chapters, then you have to buy another episode, first I've ever hear of, buying a book in chapters. seems like a scheme to get more money that way. it's to bad I really like the story, I don't think I can afford to read the whole series.

I like mysteries but it seems that book 1 &2 are no more than a chapter in a novel.
Barely any suspense until last chapter.
Not sure I will read before whole collection is complete. Too expensive for audible.
