Couldn't put it down

The series continues to be wonderful. It has one of my favorite characters, Antila front and center. Loved that.

Great story arc

I’ve been reading the Chronicles of Elantra series since the early 2000s. This series builds on the same world, but is independent from the other while using shared characters.

The writing is excellent and the characters are well developed. I love how characters are introduced in passing and then begin to play larger rolls as the story progresses.

I really enjoy the series!

This second book continues to excel in storytelling and performance. This is straight fantasy lit without the litrpg flavor found in so many other stories these days. Looking forward to book 3…
