A 1/2 vampire 1/2 vampire hunter child what can go wrong with that

Cloe doesn't know her what her birth parents until vampires break in and kill her mother and try to kidnap her telling her that her father wants her. She is saved by vampire hunter who turn out to be her mothers family. Nearly 15 she learns she is 1/2 vampire 1/2 vampire hunter and both sides want her. This was an entertaining and suspense filled story from start to finish. The narrator did an excellent job at keeping the story moving and the characters told apart. Highly recommend this book both for reading and listening.

Excellent! Enjoyable Hunter book collection

Enjoyed the plot and the characters. Ms Wethers did a very good job of narrating Jennifer Malone Wright’d take of “The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter”. Highly recommend this for anyone that likes vampire stories.

A collection of six parts which when taken together equal one novel. There is a follow-up to this series titled The Arcadia Falls Chronicles which also consists of six parts.

The protagonist is 15 years old when her mother, a vampire hunter, is killed by minions of her father who is a vampire. The story is a quick and easy read with enough action to keep the reader's interest

YA story

Even though I'm much older, I found this story appealing. A nice mix of characters. I think I might just follow it a bit longer to see where the author goes.

Altogether it was a pretty fsotry, however, I can't imagine being led, or being teamed up with Clohe, the dizzy vampire hunter. Maybe it's the Senior Non Comissioned Officer-'Boots on the ground, 26.5 years serving in the greatest military in the real world attitude coming to the forefront when I say that having one or more emotional dots like the story's main character on the team would be a death sentence for the home team. That's why we have a boot camp system in America, to screen those incompetent people out. in other countries they dope them up, brainwash them and strap a bomb vest to them. they send them off in 2 man teams, the second member being a sniper. Chloe was too unstable for me to wonder whether she made it to her 17th birthday.

Where does The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Complete Collection: Parts 1-6 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was the first one I was able to listen to! I had 2 free stories and either I picked bad books or the narration was bad, I just couldn't do it. I gave up on audiobooks until I received a copy of The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Complete Collection! I love it! Very well done!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked most of the characters, it has been a while since I listened to it. I just forgot to leave a review :-)

What about Eliza Wethers’s performance did you like?

Everything! She did an amazing job! I even caught my family randomly listening to it with me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I think I did it in 2 sittings :-)

Vampire Hunter's Daughter

If you enjoyed Buffy, the Vampire Diaries or even (heaven forbid!!) Twilight, then you enjoy this book.

It starts with a bang, introducing the reader to Chloe's life as a Dhampir, a half human/half vampire. Until her Mother's death, Chloe just thought she was a normal teenager, not the result of her Mother's seduction by a bloodsucking vampire!

Add in the fact that her Mother was a fearless Vampire Hunter & you have the makings of an enjoyable YA book.

The narrator did a great job depicting the angst of a teenaged girl. She varied her voice enough with the other characters to let the listener know who was talking.

All in all, a fun beginning to what should be a great series!
