The world of finance meets a Prada wearing shark

This combined effort had laughs, loves, and lots of sexual chemistry. From their initial meeting in the bar the reader is given an entertaining romp narrated wonderfully by Stephanie Murphy.

Hooked me with the heat… lost me with the plot

That first sex scene was steamy and totally what I was hoping to see more of…. But it didn’t happen till nearly the end of the books so overall it was an okay story just really wasn’t what I was looking for right now.

Great story and narration

Both authors are superb on their own, so it’s no surprise this was such a delightful book.


And Stephanie Murphy’s narration is just wonderful.

Fascinating story

I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. The characters were so interesting and well developed that they seemed alive and the drama made it highly entertaining. Laurie the hatchet was applied descibe in the beginning and seeing her develop into a lovely woman was enchanting. Jack much younger had higher expectations from the hatchet and was kept in constant turmoil, which actually happens in real life at times. The love scene’s were hot and I liked that they did not take up the whole story. The desires from both women’s point was fascinating to hear and the ending was everything I have come to expect from this talented author.

Sweet Funny Story!

This was a cute, sweet, and funny story. A very sexy May December type of romance. Very well executed with main characters that flew off the charts in chemistry! Also, excellent narration!
