Cute & clean cozy story

This was my first story by Sharon Buchbinder, and the book appears late in the series, but can be read as standalone. I never felt lost as to who the characters were or their relationships to one another.

It was entertaining to watch a man of science adjust to a world of magic as he falls in love with a water nymph. I liked the variety of paranormal beings in the story — from shifters to nymphs to leprechauns.

The magical talking cats and their antics were cute, but I think I'm glad I don't have to live with them. :) The story was a fast-paced, light-hearted easy read with happily-ever-afters for everyone.

Rebecca Winder was a fun narrator, and a good choice for the story.

Cozy Paranormal Mystery with a Bit of Steam

Violence: PG13 nothing too graphic
Sexual content: PG - kissing, attraction and steamy lead ups, but overall it stays free of bedroom scenes.

This was a fun and quick read. This one centers around a male nurse that is in denial about his magical family roots and finds himself back home after some life changing events and now has to confront his past and figure out what's making the talking cats bark and people sick.

The narrator did a good job with the character differentiations and acting. I did prefer listening at 1.35x speed.

The book is light, laugh-out-loud funny, and deeply satisfying as they find that along the way to helping others, they heal the cracks in their own hearts.

As a repeat listener to Rebecca Winder in this genre, you know she delivers! Winder is an excellent fit for the Paranormal Romantic Comedy genre, capably handling the wide range required—from the dry, uptight voice of Brendan to the whimsical charm of Tessa, and most importantly, the hilarious, distinct personality of the naughty-talking cat, Tom! Her performance ensures the comedic elements land perfectly while still conveying the genuine emotion of their heartfelt journey. This is a must-listen for a comforting, magical escape.

very clean and super cute cozy pnr series. If you just want something light for a quick listen, pick them up.

awww I just love this story. it was so cute. I just love true love and soul mates. those are the best kinda stories. I did feel bad for the bear 🐻 shifter there for a minute. but I'm glad Naomi came to her senses. the narrator did a good job too.
