Good but....

I really liked the story it kept me interested the whole way through. However the ending is a HUGE let down. It feels super lazy.

great read

The twist and turns that all the characters went through was something special. I couldn't imagine being one of the women to be involved.

Not sure what to think!

the narrator's were great, the stories were intriguing. the men were despicable dogs that painted women in a senior and degrading light that disrespect every fashion of black women especially Southern women. The conclusion was very disappointing i wanted to.see it all come full circle instead it sort of abruptly ended with a a shallow synopsis.

The storyline was kind of drawn out. I started to return the book because it started out slow but it was an okay book. Not what I expected from this author. I enjoyed her other books.

Decent overall

The storyline was pretty good, however the ending was rushed and incomplete a true let down. Would have appreciated a better ending to the story to at least get their just deserved.
On a positive note the narration was great.

What Journey!

Wow!!! This book made me reflect upon my dating life! The way you conveyed the thoughts and feelings of the men and the women; SUPERB! Sadly, too many women fall victim to the games of men. Some of us are truly looking for a real man who's ready to love. Why all the Head Games?

The End

I enjoyed listening to some narrators more than others. This was a good read overall, however not quite the ending I expected.

Left hanging...

I felt like the book ended poorly. I would have liked to be given more detail. Not one of Mary's best books.

The permise is challenging and vivid. Each storyline has an interesting twist, and it's great to see them tie together.
