Hartley House Hauntings, Book 2

De: Eve Evans

Narrado por: Rachael Caise

The team...decimated. Nadia...more terrified than ever. The psychic...is sure the house is claiming new victims.

They have to go back.

After the horrors Nadia experienced at the hand of Hartley House - the murder of her mother, her father’s suicide, the former investigation that leaves blurred edges everywhere in her mind...she’s done with Hartley. She promised herself she’d never go back. But the evil house is claiming lives again. And if she has any hope of saving future lives, she must trust Joe - the psychic that survived - and go back to the house.

The house, its ghosts, nightmares, shadows, and apparitions are never going to let her go.

Not without a fight, anyway.

What a Homecoming!

Nadia and the team of paranormal investigators can't seem to remember what happened on the last night they spent in the haunted Hartley House. When another family falls victim to the curse that seems to surround this house, they return to try to cleanse it of the evil. But, when things start to turn truly horrific, they can't decide what is real and what is a dream.

This short story was truly creepy and I found myself imagining things as I read it. It definitely had a very different twist to any other haunted house book I have read. Well-written, great descriptions and really haunting, I recommend this to any fan of a great haunted house story.

The narrator did an excellent job and her performance added a lot to the book. I will definitely be looking for more books by this author when I want a good scare!
