Captivating

This is one of my favorite audible series. They had me locked in from start to finish. I was hit with multiple emotions and the plots and twist were done just right to have me wondering what was going to happen next.

Beautiful ending

I loved it! Found it by accident and just started reading. I could not put it down.

Not a typical alpha brute

I really enjoyed the fact that the big bad bear alpha wasn't a testosterone filled brute and genuinely cared about the well-being of the she wolf. It was great to break away from that ridiculous two dimensional alpha trope that saturates the omegaverse scene. I prefer ff omegaverse stories, though, which generally just have a more sincere feel. I understand that's not everyone's bag, though, so take it for what it is.
Both lead characters are strong and willful, and the story was interesting and had real substance to it. Solid A grade.

Petty Good

The story was cute and good. The sex wasn't bad but also not as hot as some books.
Was glad I listened and I did finish this book, which I can't say for many books.

I did wish there was more revenge and where the pack felt more guilt, but for being a short story was fine!

Shifter Romance 🐻🐺 - 🏍️ Romance - Erotic Paranormal Romance

I found this story pretty typical for a shifter romance albeit the transition that Onyx goes through was unexpected. I liked how it was unusual however I’m still a bit confused as to some of the specifics. I wish there were a few more words spoken about those things by the antagonist when the showdown went down. And although the book is technically an MC romance the 🏍️ parts were on the limited side.

I was well satisfied by the performances of both narrators. Listening to this book an enjoyable experience however it wasn’t exactly a dual narrated story as all but the epilogue was in Onyx’s POV.

Disappointing

childish , rude and beyond insulting .... she is completely selfish ...... she begged for help ... he offer help and she does nothing complain and insult him ...... there is a difference between strong woman and bitch ......

Interestingly cute.

I liked the story. I think the characters were interesting and the premise was good to keep you and tangled in the story. I do wish that there was a little more depth to the characters and what happened towards the end, was really short and could’ve been expanded upon. It happened suddenly and then it was over.I’m thankful for the epilogue.

The plot broke apart IMO!!

This had sooooooooooo much potential!!! Initially, I was all in. But it kinda just crashed in the middle somehow!! I wanted to love it!

I liked it, but it said there was two narrators the second one didn’t come in until the epilogue so I wish there was more back-and-forth throughout the story.
