I love every single book by aron beauregard this book was amazing enjoyed every second of it always check trigger warnings for his books but overall I was happy with this book

AB does it again! Another book I couldn’t stop listening to until I was done!

Amazing performance and captivating book

Was hooked the entire time. The narrator did an absolutely incredible job between voices and inflections. Another great book by AB with great intermingling stories and the most disturbing situation one else could think up.

An immediate splatterpunk classic

Had my doubts initially, the magic felt outside Beauregard’s repertoire. But then all the pieces came together and WOW!! Just wow! A disturbing tale of human depravity and humanity’s affinity to hope all in one.
Amazing.

Shocking and Twisted

This is one of ABs best works in my opinion. He takes us on a wild ride to follow the suffering of a handyman named Vinny from youth to adulthood. AB does an amazing job of painting the horror in this story. He really knows how to get under your skin. If you are looking for something shocking with a decent story, this is a good read

Gag Worthy

It’s a personal goal to make it through an AB horror book without gagging…that has yet to happen! So creative and he just really knows how to get under your skin with his words. Every book has been excellent!

Favorite book for 2025. Hands down.

I don’t usually write reviews, but screw it—this one deserves it. I’ll try to keep it short.

First off, Chuck absolutely nailed the narration. You can tell he had a blast bringing all the wild, twisted characters to life. Each one felt vivid, unique, and unforgettable. His energy made the whole thing even more immersive.

The father-son relationship between Vinny and Dennis really hit home for me. It reminded me of going to work and coming home with my dad back in the day—something deeply relatable that added heart to all the madness.

If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you mixed Bob the Builder, Ed Gein, and Mad Max, you’d get HANDYMAN. Certified hood classic. I could totally see Demonic Vinny as a Mortal Kombat character—ripping through enemies with his trusty golden hammer. Brutal, hilarious, unforgettable.

Bottom line: I had a blast listening to this. Highly recommended.
