Resumen del Editor

Hacking is a term most of us shudder away from; we assume that it is only for those who have lots of programming skills and loose morals and that it is too hard for us to learn how to use it.

But what if you could work with hacking like a good thing, as a way to protect your own personal information and even the information of many customers for a large business?

This guidebook is going to spend some time taking a look at the world of hacking and some of the great techniques that come with this type of process as well.

Whether you are an unethical or ethical hacker, you will use a lot of the same techniques, and this guidebook is going to explore them in more detail along the way, turning you from a novice to a professional in no time.

Some of the different topics we will look at concerning hacking in this guidebook includes:

  • The basics of hacking and some of the benefits of learning how to use this programming technique.
  • The different types of hackers, why each one is important, and how they are different from one another.
  • How to work with your own penetration test.
  • The importance of strong passwords and how a professional hacker will attempt to break through these passwords.
  • A look at how to hack through a website of any company that doesn’t add in the right kind of security to the mix.
  • A look at how to hack through the different wireless networks that are out there to start a man-in-the-middle attack or another attack.
  • Some of the other common attacks that we need to work with including man-in-the-middle, denial-of-service attack malware, phishing, and so much more.
  • Some of the steps that you can take in order to ensure that your network will stay safe and secure, despite all of the threats out there.

Hacking is a term that most of us do not know that much about. We assume that only a select few can use hacking to gain their own personal advantage and that it is too immoral or too hard for most of us to learn.

But learning a bit of hacking can actually be the best way to keep your own network safe.

Are you ready to learn more about hacking and what it can do to the safety and security of your personal or business network?

An excellent book to discover a bigger world

The premise of Hacking: Computer Hacking for Beginners Guide . Norman is to teach you about terms and language surrounding “hacking” in general. In specific Alan takes on the daunting task of trying to espouse ethics and morals surrounding hacking, including Black Hat, Grey Hat and White Hat hacking and what the differences are. He also takes on the task of teaching you C++ at a very introductory but functional level so that you actually learn how to program and debug your own key-logger.

Excellent book for listen

This is extremely technical: you're not going to listen some pleasant narrative and become a master hacker here. This book assumes you're serious and wants to take you there, providing a CD to practice with and everything

One of good book

For a small book with lofty goals, he accomplishes these tasks surprisingly well. It is clear through listens the book that Alan is a teacher, and he does a good job at training you about your subject and then accomplishing your task. I was actually surprised by how much I learned. The context of this statement is that I am a cyber-security professional and a training professional as well.

Pretty heavy listening

This book very effectively explains and demonstrates the low-level mechanics of exploits. Knowing C (or at least being able to compile and run it) will allow you to pull much more from this book.

Wow iam love this book

This is a really excellent book. I was surprised at how clearly Alan elucidates what hacker really means, and goes to great pains to explain Black Hats, Grey Hats, and White Hats. Alan tells you in words and figures that there are no short cuts; it is all about learning and experience. He takes a far more ethical bent than I would have expected. This is a great beginner book for anyone who is curious, wants to know more, and wants to defend themselves. This is even a good book if you have less than ethical motives, and just need to know what words mean and how to get started in hacking.

Wow listen now

Best I have seen on Hacking for Beginners thanks for listeners . I concur, the book needs profoundly specialized stuff, yet as I would like to think, that is its magnificence. I recommend everybody to peruse the book.

Iam listen now

I just got this book and felt I needed to comment on everyone saying the disk does not work. I downloaded a program called infra recorder and made an iso of the disk. Then I loaded it as a VM in a virtual box. It booted up without an issue. I tried this in VMware workstation pro and the ubuntu image went into a kernel panic. So the virtual box is the way to go. I will update this once I make it through the material.
