Second chance at its best!

Teenage friendship drifted apart. But meeting again, all grown up...the sparks fly! Action in this book is all you could hope for with a sexy protector. Blade should be everyone's best book boyfriend. The narrators are excellent. I highly recommend listening!

As they get reacquainted, danger is still on their trail. A terrific mix of romance, friendship and intrigue. Each story in this series is superb. The narration adds to the story, exceedingly well done.

This book has romance, action, suspense, murder mayhem. It definitely keeps you on the edge .

Wow

This was an interesting one. I really liked most of it, but there were a few slow spots. The plot is great, and the narration is amazing. I thought it was a great way to spend the day while working on a project.

That second chance

Blade cannot believe that he has been temporarily assigned as a bodyguard to a wealthy man’s wife in China. Then he realizes that his job is a childhood friend whom he had crushed on…and her husband is a sleaze. As Blade rekindles his friendship with Quinn, he has to plan on saving her from her husband’s ruthless business partners. Another fast paced, action packed story…with steamy moments that keep you verrrryyy entertained. While you do not have to read prior books in the series to enjoy Blade and Quinn’s story, it will help you understand the HOT team better. I look forward to more!

School friends meet again and this time fall in love. Adam “Blade” was HOT. Quinn still has some body/self issues. Lots of $exy times. Same formula as the previous books by this author.

Loved Blade and Quinn

What an awesome book this was. Loved listening to Blade and Quinn's story. I absolutely love second chance romances. Blade protected Quinn when they were in school but, can he do it again? Such great chemistry and characters and amazing narration.

Some days f the lines throughout the book are hilarious. Plus each of the characters are so believable

Where do I begin? Can Ms. Harris get any better? I fell hard for this storyline for a couple of reasons. I can identify with heroine and her issues with weight and the fact that she gets a second chance with the love of her life.

This is Adam "Blade" Garrison and Quinn Halliday's story. Blade is sent to infiltrate the criminal business matters of Quinn's husband, but is posing as Quinn's bodyguard. And he's not going as a Hot SEAL, but as one of Ian Black's mercenaries. It's extremely complicated and Blade must focus extra hard, as the woman is none other than his childhood friend, Quinn.

Of course, things turn sour very quickly and Quinn finds her life is at risk. Risk of falling in love with her childhood hero all over again ❤ and the risk of losing her life to her husband's business partner..

I received an audio book from the author and leave this review in exchange for the audible book. I highly recommend this novel.

Best friends make best lovers

WOW! I truly expected to not like Quinn, being she came across as too sheltered, since husband considered her more of a trophy wife. But then, her character opened up & really surprised me.
Having Blade on her side protecting her, brings out a new side to her personality.
Blade, once he gets past his embarrassment of ghosting his best friend after joining Navy, realizes just what he's been missing.
