One of Daphne Wade's guilty pleasures is to watch the Duke of Tremore as he works, shirtless, on the excavation site of his ducal estate. Anthony, meanwhile, only sees Daphne as a hard worker on his excavation team. So Daphne decides she will not be so silly any longer. She begins to be tutored in the social graces, forcing Anthony to see the beauty who has been right in front of his eyes.

So so so good

Great storyline. Love the character development. Great pace. Excellent narration. Feel good romance. Something I would listen to again.

Get ready to cry!

Two very strong characters. Daphne and Anthony are one of the most angst ridden couples I ever come across in romantic stories. They each deserve happy endings, but they have been so wounded growing up that they cannot seem to trust in a love that is right in front of them.

Beautiful Story

This is a beautiful story. The characters are strong, determined, loving. I always love the story that brings the alpha male to his knees, because he loves a woman so much. If you love a good romance, then this is the book for you!

Unusual storyline

Strong, believable characters who were easy to like, flaws and all. Unusual storyline that kept me interested from start to finish. My first book by this author—certainly won’t be my last!

Interesting

Very good plot, excellent story kept my I interest. The h/h had chemistry. I recommend the book.
