Response to "incorrect" pronunciation of "gaol"

"The short answer, according to Oxford Dictionaries online, is that the word “gaol” was “originally pronounced with a hard g, as in goat.” Here's a fuller answer. “Etymologically, a jail is a 'little cage,' ” John Ayto says in his Dictionary of Word Origins."

The narrator is NOT in fact pronouncing "gaol" incorrectly. He's spot-on.

fantastic story. an old favorite of mine but simply murdered by the narrator. who pronounces 'gaol' the same as 'goal'? seriously learn to speak prior to narrating books old bean!
