book really touched my soul, as Tara shared such vulnerability in this story of her difficult journey through the hell of cancer, and such profound loss in her life. my grandmother died of breast cancer before I was born, so this gives me a bit of a window into the heart of a woman with this journey in front of her. Such a compelling narrative about the author’s journey from hospice with Stage 4 cancer to being declared no evidence of disease. Despite the heavy subject matter, Tara’s optimism proved indestructible and kept me engaged if not fully invested in her story. She’s an inspiration!
