Gild the Lily is a dark dystopian novel written by Jake Nevills. The story follows a young, misguided man living in a world cured of diseases. To most this world sounds like bliss, but according to The Resolution, a secret organization, this is detrimental to the population. The Resolution works in the shadows where people ignore the chaos that falls around them.

Samil is one of the many brainwashed soldiers that is hired by the corrupt organization to kill off innocent people in order to line their pockets with power and greed, throughout the story he truly believes he is saving the world. He is faced with several obstacles that will test his morals and logic.

Will Samil face his demons, or will he continue living in his hell on Earth?
