Great story

I enjoyed the narration and the exciting pace of the story. Wilbur Smith has done it again.

Brilliance by numbers

When it comes to a Wilbur Smith historical novel, you are either in, or you are out. Very similar to a James Bond. You know what to expect as you open the first page. The male hero, the cruel villain, the beautiful loyal girl and sweeping scenery. I am a WS fan and this book is the most Wilbur Smithian of its type for some while. Loved it!!

Overall it’s very nice.

Another very enjoyable Wilber Smith book but more importantly it was narrated by Sean Barrett. I think he could read a bad book and make me like it. :-)

A very intense and violent book, gripping to the end. I enjoyed that the ending was not rushed.
