This book has enormous value I keep reading listening to over and over again. I love Sams voice and her reading of her work. It’s like listening to a good friend. Her book is jammed packed w gems. She gives great example. Breaks things into simple and easy steps to do to get unstuck. Get it! You will not be disappointed. Loved so much after listening I had to buy a hard copy too! Star**

Life Changing!

I ended up buying this book in print after listening to the audio book. I NEEDED this tangible advice in my hands so that I could refer back to it often. It looks like this book may become as well used as my Bible. Thank you Sam Bennett for digging in to my crazy glorious out of control brain and first, validating it, and secondly, giving it hope and piece.
And now I'm off to go sit in the tub and listen to Sam read me Start Right Where You Are. Toodles!

Helped me the most!

I can help but listen to this over and over. it's as if she really "gets me". and I am not an artist! Not in the sense that she is talking about, but every word is helpful in some way. of all the self development books I've listened to, I got the most out of this one.

I have been practicing Time Management techniques for several years, yet I wanted to get to the next level. This book helped me do that. It has a collection of well described and well reasoned techniques that helped me to "Get it Done".

What made the experience of listening to Get It Done the most enjoyable?

This book is good not only for creatives, but anyone who needs to learn a little bit of "be gentle with thyself" kindness! I listened to the whole thing twice, and will randomly listen to bits when I need a cheer up! That being said, it's ESPECIALLY good if you're a creative procrastinator!

Sam Bennett's the author and reader, I like to think this means we hear it "how it was meant to be heard"

A Must Read for Creatives

This book was beautifully written from beginning to end. I have read many books on this topic, however this was the only one that spoke to my soul. Thank you, Sam Bennett.

Going to read or listen to this again

Sam narrates this audiobook in an effective way. She's realistic, clear and to the point in getting it done. What I love about this book is that it centers itself around creative people. I'm a composer, but also have a full-time tech job, and a family that keeps me busy. I found her methods apply directly to me, as simple as sitting down for 15 minutes and DOING it! I also love her take on perfection, and you will too. I highly recommend this book for those who are striving for the balance in their life.

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert...but in THIS book, Sam gives you easy, actionable steps that get you closer to connecting with your spirit and artistry without fear.

So much more than just getting it done.

I really enjoyed this book...it was actually way more than just tips and tricks to get stuff done. It was inspiring and engaging...and I got a lot out of it. I already want to listen to it again so that I can absorb the information even more the second time around.
