Past lives and a mastery of time aren't reserved for a select few. The Astraeans find this out the hard way in the second book of the Akallian Tales, Games of Astraeus.
The dying embers of book one are rekindled when the Astraeans are forced to step back and reconsider all they have ever assumed about the multiverse. Their purpose is not only called into question but threatened. When this leads to the strength of relationships being tested, some falter while others are intensified. Never before have the Astraeans been challenged to such a degree in relevance, technology, or alliances.
The Astraeans will respond, but their likelihood of rising to the challenge is unknown. They will need to learn about their new and mysterious adversary and apply that knowledge in their uniquely Astraean way. They hope to rescue and build new bonds in order to respond and answer those who threaten the noble and worthwhile notion of goodness.
