What an Adventure

Exremely interesting adventure that brings the story of Noah and the ark to life. I highly recomment to travel book.

a trip through Iraq, Iran, and Turkey.

I found this book interesting from the beginning till the end. I loved all the details of his travels; people that he met, conversations he had,things he saw,food he tasted. It made me many times feel like I was there and definitely that I would like to go to these places too. He climbed Mount Ararat and the challenge and camaraderie were both significant. This man is a terrific writer, painting pictures with his words of lands hidden from the modern traveller, hidden behind danger and intrigue! I thought this was a really terrific book and I enjoyed listening to it.

Slow moving story!

The story moves laboriously through the research and early planning, and even the early travel. I gave up. My time is more valuable than this book.
