Truly entertaining listen. Well-developed characters and a plot that keeps your attention. Highly recommend- a light read (or listen!)

That Main Character

She is insufferable, she can make coffee, play pool, be the belle at the ball and shade her best friend like no one else, and of course everyone likes her above Harley. One thing she can’t do is to solve a murder if the murderer did go after her and told her

I love the way the author keeps your mind wondering and when you think you know something it’s not what you think, looking forward to listening to more from this amazing author!!!

What is this book about?

So much dialog about nothing. Through the book I was wondering if there was a plot. No action at all. I felt disappointed.

Coffee cart mystery

First time reader of one of her books, and I am looking forward to her next one. Great cast of characters and good storyline. nice read.

Cozy Culinary with a side of One Dimensional Police Chief and MC Mary Sue

most part I enjoyed the story as it kind of paints a picture of Portland Oregon. However, the one thing I did not care for was the overall characterization of the police chief. I felt that his single-minded harassment of the main character was rather off-putting and did not make me appreciate his character and felt that he could have been written better. also, the main character of sage while interesting, I also felt she was a bit of a Mary Sue and that all the mens seemed to like her or want her to work for them. I feel Harley could have used more characterization as well. otherwise it was for the most part and enjoyable read and I'm interested in book two.

Not well organized

The story was a little disjointed. Too many red herrings we're thrown in making it seems like the writer was all over the place.

Narrator struggled with male voices

Story was engaging but the narrator was not able to create distinct male voices. They all sounded like 11 year old boys. Main female character was likeable.
