I don't think I would recommen this book to anyone. It had some good points but it was very hard to stay focused and flow along. sometimes it was hard to relate and I oten thought that the situations of married couple were a little exaggerated.

one of his worst
I can't imagine that this would be a helpful book for wives. I have been married for 30 years and Gary Smalley's work transformed our marriage early on. His concept of honoring your wife really hit home with me. The companion book for this to husband is pretty good but this book is not.

I had a hard time relating to most examples.
I feel this book would be useful to many couples out there, but I personally did not relate to the majority of examples given for marriages and husbands.
This book would help women who have unengaged husbands. Whether it be because of career, sports, escapism, or just plain clueless and selfish behaviors, this is the book for you. This book would also be good for women who feel their husbands ignore them.
My husband is very mature, highly respectful, and highly engaged, but I still feel we struggle to know how to share and communicate. I will keep looking for that advice I guess.
