Hard to root for

I'm normally a staunch second chance romance/miscommunication trope defender...but the immaturity of these characters was astounding. It made me not want to root for them. However, this story was beautifully written, the ending was strong, and narration was excellent. I'd listen to another book by this author.

The protagonist are both so annoying! The whole thing is unbearable, way to make a natural disaster love story boring..

Kind of cute

We have to spend time establishing characters in the beginning if you want the characters to be likable. Sometimes someone doesn’t need a partner, they need therapy.
