Empowering

This book is incredible! very eye opening and inspiring! There were moments that I laughed outloud and moments brought me to tears. A life story of inner struggle, self reflection, immense courage, and the power to change the course of ones future! I'm so glad I have this book. I will read it more than once, it has encouraged me to flip my own script!!!!

A Book of Hope and Love

it's always great when the author of a work narrates his/her own book. and in this case, AJ really poured his soul. in so doing, he provides inspiration and practical tools to overcome life's harder moments, or rock bottom moments as he calls them. it's a very powerful and moving bool full of courage and wisdom. take a listen especially if you feel like you're struggling in your life.

The story was super heartfelt and I love how he had "script rewrites" at the end.

All the emotions!

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I had to for this book. I absolutely loved it! You find yourself connected and relating to AJ’s hardships and obstacles, as well as the happy times. I cried, giggled, had a few oh shit and WTF moments. Finished this in two days. It’s that good! I will have my oldest read or listen to this as I feel it will help him.

AJ never disappoints!

I cannot say enough positive things about this book. AJ is one of the most charismatic people, who can captivate any audience. He does so in his writing and with his voice, bringing his true emotions to the stories he is telling. It was truly a pleasure reading along while listening to his in my headphones. Phenomenal!!!!

Thoughtful, Insightful & Funny!

As a gay male working in the TV industry myself, I can relate so much to what AJ has gone through. I appreciate his truth and vulnerability in this book as well as his sense of humor.

It was great to hear him narrate it. That personal touch made it feel like he was talking to me.
