Such a fun and sexy story

Maddox and Ashley have been friends since grade school and she has always felt he would always be there for her. Now she has called off her wedding but still wants to use the honeymoon. Her friends decide to a contest to see what man will go with her. When Maddox learns of it he decides to be the one to go with her. These two were so fun together and I loved the friends to lovers. Well written story and the narrators did a great job with these two.

Loved It!

Maddox and Ashley are absolutely adorable! Their banter is fun and playful and the chemistry between them is off the charts. They have that easy connection that makes watching them fall in love irresistible.

Grace Grant and Joe Arden brought this story to life and it’s flirty but also smoking hot!

I loved reading Fling and I also loved LISTENING to Fling- Grace Grant and Joe Arden brought Maddox and Ashley to life. A well-deserved 5-stars and a huge thanks to Adriana Locke for the audio copy!!!
 
Fling follows Ashley who recently broke off her engagement and moved back to her hometown of Kismet Beach where she reconnects with her old childhood friend, Maddox Carmichael. If you’ve read Flirt, you know all the shenanigans pulled by the Carmichael brothers and this book definitely keeps that up. When Ashley is looking for company on her non-refundable honeymoon, her best friends take it upon themselves to find her a “honeymoon” fling and who better than childhood-friend/we-can’t-be-anything-more Maddox Carmichael. They’ve got some of the best banter and chemistry in Adriana Locke’s books and watching them fall for each other kept me turning the page over and over without a break.
 
If you love friends-to-lovers, fake-spouses, and swimming on an island with pigs, this is the book for you and if this is all you’ve read by Adriana Locke, you’re in luck because her backlist is extensive and phenomenal. Enjoy the adventure!!

Madd & Ash

I'm a big Adrianna Locke fan. I enjoy the storyline on top new series, but one thing that I think would have been better on the jot scenes are the males have more of the sexy times. it seems the females get all the glory.

a great book!

I was excited to read this book based on the fact that it was from Adriana Locke alone. Then I got to read the blurb and that made me even more excited to read it. Ashley and Maddox's story did not disappoint!

Fling had a unique storyline and I loved every minute of reading it. When Ashley cancels her wedding she decides not to let the prepaid honeymoon go to waste. Enter Maddox. They have been friends since they were kids and when he goes with her on the trip everything changes. They had such a great connection/friendship and it was fun watching it morph into something more. Maddox and Ashley are two of my favorite characters Adriana has written.

I really like Adriana's writing style and the narration. Her books always hook me from the beginning with interesting, relatable characters, humor, and plenty of swoon-worthy romance. This is a fun, easy, and entertaining book, and I can't recommend it enough!

Loved this friends to lovers romance

The narrators were fantastic. They performed Ashley and Maddox perfectly. If you like to listen to your romance books, I highly recommend this duo. Warning, this is NSFW so you may want to keep headphones around for those spicy scenes. You'll never look at strawberries the same again.

This was awesome! Ashley and Maddox are perfect together. The friends-to-lovers trope works really well here because they've known each other since grade school so they fall into easy banter and there isn't an awkward insta-love situation happening because they've always had feelings for each other. They have great chemistry and are comfortable around each other because of their long standing friendship, so when their relationship enters new territory things heat up quickly.

This follows Ashley in the aftermath of her broken engagement. She is trying to put the pieces of her life back together, so she's moved back home where she has the support of her family and friends. As part of the healing process she decides to go on her honeymoon because it is non-refundable, and she was really looking forward to it. The problem is she doesn't want to go alone and no one in her inner circle is available on short notice. The solution is that her two best friends decide to hold a contest to find her a travel buddy. Maddox, who happens to be Ashley's long time friend volunteers as tribute and the attraction and feelings that have always existed between the two of them finally get a chance to flourish. Their trip is filled with fun, romance, and some pretty spicy scenes. When they get home they have to sort out their feelings and thoughts on relationships.

This reads as a standalone, but it is the second book in the Carmichael Family series. Much like in the first book, which is about Moss, we get glimpses of the other brothers and their antics. As with Adriana's other books the side characters are excellent. Banks is hilarious and I'm looking forward to reading his book. Jess' book is next and I'm looking forward to getting to read his story. Ashley's friends are wonderful and I hope Sara and Becca get stories as well.

Fling to feelings

Fling made me feel giddy! Maddox and Ashley's banter was so fun and flirty, so I knew when they took their friendship to the next level, it would be fire. The way Maddox treated Ashley was something special. He was so thoughtful when it comes to her. It truly is the little things! I really loved this book!

I both read this book and listened to the audiobook. I loved how the narrators brought these two to life! Grace Grant really brought Ashley's sass which is one of my favorite things about her. Grace and Joe's portrayal of Ashley and Maddox was spot on. The chemistry real came through. Great job!

Audiobook

I absolutely adored this book. I love the banter, friendship, and flirtiness behavior between Maddox and Ashley. This was a quick, enjoyable read. I enjoyed the characters, except when Ashley overthought every single detail. I love it when everyone around Maddox and Ashley could see they were in love, but they themselves were blind as a bat. Sometimes it takes an unusual circumstance to knock your marbles back into place so you can see what's right in front of you. A great happily ever after book!

The best chemistry

Give me all the Carmichael boys antics. From the start in each book you get a great feel for the brothers camaraderie and crazy pranks they do to each other. It constantly leaves me laughing. Top it with this friends to pretend honeymoon to lovers banter I loved every page!! You can tell these two were meant to be together especially how easy their friendship was. Grace and Joe did a phenomenal job bringing these two to life in my ear!!

Oh Fling was so cute!

Oh Fling was so cute! Those Carmichael brothers are a hoot, and I adored Maddox and Ashley's friends-to-lovers story. It was hilarious and heartfelt. Swoony and sexy. Sweet and HOT. Ashley's friends Sara and Becca were so great and I hope we get to see more of them in future Carmichael books. Narrators Grace Grant and Joe Arden gave fantastic performances and added so much to the story.
