good listen

the part about Chris Kyle and how its wrote keeps you interested & while i am not Christian I did find the book interesting and kept listening.
it for the most part reaffirms what you already know in life and just need to hear more often.

Unexpected

The read was not what I was expecting. I love horses and dove right into the story of one of their amazing cousins and the Family that surrounded him. Though sometimes I found myself hoping the family would have gotten a little help from some knowledgeable equine professional, perhaps the Lessons that were brought forth to them would have been missed. Thanks to the lord for his wonderful creation and for talking and instructing us through it! And thanks to him for bringing someone like Rachel into our lives. She is filled with the lords grace to see and share what amazing things our lord is capable of doing.

Closer to my Lord

Suggested to me by a new Christian friend. This book has a good Christian topic with an uplifting message. I like the summary of the "Flash Lessons" at the end bringing me closer to my lord.

life lessons drawn from donkey stories

I enjoyed the life stories and donkey stories. I also enjoyed the life lessons from a Bible perspective. it would be nice if the audiobook included some way to incorporate the final life lesson checklist - for reference... some days I was more in the mood for the donkey stories than life lessons and referring back to the lessons would be nice...
the note by Pricilla Shirrer at the beginning had some genuis to it- comparing books to friendships...
performance was so good, you could imagine it was the author reading it. overall an enjoyable listen! side note, we have 3 donkeys and we love our donkeys and her descriptions were so spot on, I could picture ours doing those very things as I listened- except the escaping scenarios- ours don't escape and are completely uninterested in the neighbors horses...but that's probably because there are 3 of them to buddy around together?

So good to read a Christian book. I will be rereading and taking notes of the scriptures. The narrator was very good too!. I truly loved the lessons learned from the Donkey. Excellent read. I have horses and minis and this book helped me to appreciate life and its journey and our Lord Jesus Christ!

I loved this book . Performance was awesome. just love her voice like a best friend. This book will make you laugh and will open your heart and you will cry. Thank you for a wonderful book.

A beautiful story about a wayward donkey that reveals so many parallels to our lives & relationship with our creator.

Best book I've "read" in a very long time!

Absolutely loved it! I highly recommend it to everyone. It is easly to read and understand.

absolutely awesome I binged the whole thing!

I loved the storyline and the reality of it. there were a few part that made me (almost) cry, parts that made me smile, and one part I was rolling on the ground laughing. 🤣 overall it made my top 10 for sure.
