Prizefighter-turned-PI Donald Dugan has been going through a rough patch, between clients who are reluctant to pay for services rendered and Poopsie, his secretary’s borderline psychotic lapdog.

I've liked the author's stories since his comic book days. In this mystery, big city private eye Donald Dugan has inherited a property in the great swamp, but finds a body of some sort of thug in a clown suit there.

A quite enjoyable noir listen as Donald encounters a series of unsavory sorts.

I liked the narrator here, I'll need to try to get further into the Dar'ryn Series he did.

Recommended.
