book 8: This is a sweet story that starts on omissions of truth on Theo's part of who he is as Zoe was told multiple times to stay away from him. They fell for each other the more they learned. In the process Zoe learns truths about herself.
book 9: Claudia is groomed as a fire maiden and after what was suppose to be a one night stand Heath ends up her bodyguard. An enemy is back with an even bigger threat.

I just love being taken to the wonderful cities and enjoy the budding romance while good battles evil. The strong confident women and the swoon worthy hero's will keep you glued tho the pages just like I was. This is a feel good paranormal adventure romance that I recommend, also the whole series. Wildly entertaining

In this series of audible books you travel from Venice, Greece and Switzerland. In Venice you get to meet Tony and Cara. They will lead you on an exciting ride. In Greece you will meet Theo and Zoe. Hold on to your hat because this is a exhilarating story that keeps you captivated. Then onto Switzerland where you meet Claudia and Heath. The ending of this series is explosive.

Fabulous Story! ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed the story! Tony and Cara were so sweet together. The story has an interesting twist on the Fire Maiden theme. It was a well done.

Book 8: Greece
Another Enjoyable Installment 💖

As with the previous books in this series, this installment was fabulous! Zoe and Theo were an engaging couple who were easy to invest in. I enjoyed the additional shifter types that were introduced in this book.

Narration was on point as well. I've grown to truly enjoy Ms. Osborne's voice.

Book 9: Switzerland
Fabulous Conclusion

This was a fabulous conclusion to the series. I loved Claudia and Heath together. The sparks were awesome. I loved the breakfast where all the couples gathered. The conversation among the couples was hilarious at times.

Narration was on point as usual.

Fire Maidens: Venice - Cara and Tony
Ms. Lowe has done it again! I loved this book. Each book in the series is about a Fire Maiden but each book is different. Tony is back in Venice after a 10-year absence after being framed for murder. During that time, he was in the French Foreign Legion. Cara, an ecologist, and Tony meet at a masked event. They feel a connection. Is this fate that brought him back to Venice? He also sees Fiorina, a young Fire Maiden, again. He saved her and her family 10 years earlier when her father was murdered. Trouble is on the horizon. During the event, Fiorina is the target of kidnappers. Tony and Cara work together to save her. Cara was awesome! They were both great in foiling the kidnappers' plan. Don Ercole, who is a Guardian, wanted to lock Tony up once he saw him but Fiorina, who recognized him as the man who saved her long ago, and her mother saved him by telling the truth of what happened that night. Ercole was a real b@stard but he comes through in the end.

Tony and Cara thought the attempted kidnapping attempt might be an inside job. I liked how they worked together to solve the mystery all the while falling in love. Tony, Rocco, who was at the event with Tony, and Cara were to guard Fiorina. It was funny when Cara was teaching Fiorina some self-defense moves. Tony calls for back up from one of his French Foreign Legion buddies and he got help from Theo. They end up sneaking Fiorina out from under the Guardians and took her to Tony’s grandfather Arturo's house. That old man was great! He was not intimidated by the Guardians. Ismeralda, Fiorina’s aunt, was a sneaky b!tch and I love what happened to her. I also love what happened to Cara when faced with extreme danger. This book had a very nice Fire Maiden surprise. We cannot forget about Jacqueline, a villain from previous books. She made a brief appearance in this book and will probably turn up again in her quest for power. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. There was plenty of suspense as well as romance. I love how Ms. Lowe sets us up for the next book. I highly recommend the Fire Maiden series.

Fire Maidens: Greece - Zoe and Theo
Each story in this series is thoroughly enjoyable and I highly recommend listening to or reading each book. This is Theo’s story. Theo has become a better person/dragon after 10 years in the French Foreign Legion even though no one knows so he shows it by his actions. He is back since he honored his father’s requirement and now he needs to claim a mate and marry so he can claim his inheritance. His father picked out candidates and before Theo meets them, Zoe storms in to see his father (she is a strong woman and I love that). After she leaves, his father tells him to take care of her and Theo is thrilled. He hasn’t really met her and he feels “it.” When Zoe meets Theo, she feels “it” too and after talking with him, has spicy dreams of him. Theo’s reputation sucks but Zoe doesn’t know who he is. Zoe and Theo’s chemistry is apparent from the beginning

I thought I wanted to visit Venice but now I want to visit Greece too! Ms. Lowe paints such a beautiful picture of the Greek Islands. I love this magical shifter/fire maiden world. Listening to Ms. Lowe’s books makes you feel that you are part of the characters’ lives if for just a short while.

Theo took a long time to tell Zoe who he is, although I understand why. Zoe and Theo were on his yacht having a blast with each other. His friend, Heath, from the French Foreign Legion is waiting on shore. They took a boat from the yacht to meet him but there was also a woman there, Zifera, who was Theo’s friend from school. He was never involved with her. She told him she wanted to marry him (for personal gain for both of them) all while Zoe is standing there! Zifera even says that after they are married, he could have a side chick. She thought she could save him from his father with the perfect plan. My heart went out to Zoe because that is when she finds out who he is.

This book had lots of romance, suspense, and edge of your seat action, especially when villain Jacqueline, from previous books, and her minions make an appearance and cause a lot of trouble. I hope she will get her due in a future book. A lot of different shifter species come to help out, including Heath. I love how this book ended and Theo’s father’s reaction to everything.

Fire Maidens: Switzerland - Claudia and Heath
What a great ending to the Billionaires and Bodyguards series! I highly recommend listening to and/or reading each book. This book was different in that Claudia, a dragon shifter, knew she was a Fire Maiden. There was lots of action, suspense, and, of course, romance. Heath, a bear shifter, who she had a one-night stand with, was one of her bodyguards and boy did she give him a run for his money in trying protect and keep her safe. Jacqueline, villain from previous books, joins forces with Ghisell, a witch. Of course they cause lots of trouble for Claudia. I like when Claudia and Heath were fleeing for their lives, Heath does a special shift to come to her rescue. It was awesome when they made it to Claudia's chalet. By then, Claudia was practically frozen. Heath warms her up so nicely. They realize they were mates but it took them a while to admit it. The ending is so good with all of the Fire Maidens. I love how they came together to support Claudia. It would be nice to catch up with all of the Fire Maidens, especially if they have children. To me, Kelsey Osbourne is the voice of the Fire Maidens and she did a great job with the narration.

I loved all three of the books contained in this box set, that said I loved the whole series! I especially love listening to them narrated by the wonderfully talented Kelsey Osborne,

FIRE MAIDENS: VENICE - This time it's the turn of the Lions to be the centre of attention. Cara and Tony's story is one I really enjoyed, not that I don't always enjoy Anna Lowe's work but this one was different - why you might ask? Well, it's different because Tony was forced to flee his home in Venice when he was accused and found guilty, without a trial I might add, of murder. But after ten years away his instincts have compelled him to return to Venice despite knowing that if he is recognised it could mean his death.

Whilst attending a masked event he meets Cara Alari, a beautiful ecologist who is passionate about saving Venice from further decay and destruction. But before they can act on the attraction they both feel, there's an attempt to kidnap someone close to Cara. Tony knows that he can't stand by and do nothing to stop the kidnapping but if he gets involved his identity is sure to be revealed which could mean he's sentenced to death or worse. But his honour means he must help and so both he and Cara fight together, oh I forgot to mention Cara is no dainty flower, she's tall, well built and strong. She's also good at self-defence, and together they foil the plot but as he knew he would be, Tony's recognised, arrested and taken before the Guardians.

Fortunately, Tony is recognised by someone who was there ten years ago, someone who can clear his name and restore his family's honour. After which he and Cara are asked to guard Fiorina the new Fire Maiden of Venice who turns out to be the girl they just saved from being kidnapped, she's also the daughter of the man he was accused of killing ten years ago and the girl he carried to the safety of her mother's waiting arms.

Tony and Cara are appointed as bodyguards to Fiorina but in order to keep her safe they will have to find out who ordered her father's murder and her kidnapping, are they dealing with one person or two? Are those events connected? Why is the new Firemaiden so unlike all the other Fire Maidens?

What follows is an exciting story full of drama, intrigue, chemistry and love, this is a wonderful addition to this series as destiny works its magic again. But this time there's an even bigger surprise in store for us, but that's enough from me, no more spoilers you will just have to download this wonderful tale and find out the answers first-hand.

FIRE MAIDENS: GREECE - These stories are always enriched by the detail Anna puts into her descriptions and the background information she gives on the places mentioned in her stories. This one is set on a small island, Anenomodolos, where the island is divided, the east side of the island is enchanted to protect it from the dragons who rule the rest of the island. I love Greek mythology and in this book, so many of the characters from it are a much-needed integral part of the story.

Theo's a dragon shifter who has returned to the island of his birth, Anenomodolos which he left over ten years ago. He joined the French Foreign Legion to fulfil his father's demands so he would be able to claim his inheritance. But those ten years in the Legion have changed Theo from the selfish young man he was, now all he has to do is prove that to not only his father but to the people of the island and fulfil one last demand, he must choose a mate from amongst the suitable females he father has chosen.

Zoe's an archaeologist who is surveying the east side of the island, at first glance you would think she was human but she has a secret too. It doesn't take her long to fall in love with the island, she's always loved Greece and has visited it regularly with her adoptive parents who love to take part in re-enactments of the Spartans' battles of old. Her birth certificate says she was born in Crete after which she was given to an owl shifter family who lives in the US, they believe she may be part witch although she hasn't yet displayed any magical abilities.

Greece needs a Fire Maiden and the Guardians have decided that Theo and one of a group of females are the most likely candidates to produce one in their offspring. He may need to prove himself to his father, but will he marry someone he doesn't love just to obtain his inheritance?

He and Zoe meet and there is an instant attraction between them, they develop a friendship that eventually turns into love. When an evil she-dragon threatens Zoe she learns that she has abilities she didn't know she had and she uses them to protect herself and the island. With the help of Theo and Heath, some centaurs, a minotaur, satyrs, and even a Pegasus as well as the Spartans (whom she manages to impress with her fighting skills) the battle is won.

After the battle choices will need to be made and truths will need to be told but that's as much as I'm going to say about this one - no more spoilers from me except to say that the storyline is enchanting and not easy to leave so sit back and enjoy.

FIRE MAIDENS: SWITZERLAND - Having devoured all the books in this wonderful series I was looking forward to Heath's story and I have to say it didn't disappoint. I've always liked it when he stepped up to help his buddies in the previous books and wanted him to find his own HEA. I loved his story but as the final one in this series, I admit I'm sad to realise that his story is the last and that the series has come to an end.

Health and Claudia's story was a fitting end, I loved how they were able to move past their fears about trusting someone new, how Heath was able to get past his fear of opening himself up to love so they were able to accept that they could find happiness and love together. It was nice to see his buddies and their Fire Maidens all come together, I love the abiding friendships and camaraderie formed not only between the guys but their wonderful mates. I'm going to miss this bunch of shifters but then all good things come to an end - although maybe Anna can revisit them when they all have children, perhaps a Christmas Special sometime?

But back to Heath and Claudia, these two are perfect for each other, but then they would be because they are destined mates and Destiny wouldn't have it any other way. They met by chance one evening and ended up spending the most incredible night of their lives together - only to part in the morning without exchanging details. Later that day he attends an interview for the position of bodyguard to the only born fire maiden, you've guessed it, Claudia. Despite her not wanting him as part of her team they work out an arrangement, a professional one, which turns out to be the best decision possible when dark forces attack Claudia and her safety and survival is placed squarely on Heath's broad shoulders.

As always Anna's writing style and research of locations and characters are a joy to read.

Fire Maidens - Venice

Loving this series!! Lion shifter Cara is one of my favorite heroines from this series! She kicks butt! I’m not a fan of damsels, and Cara is definitely not one. Plus, I love that she wants to save ecosystems. Lion shifter Tony is awesome too! He’s so honorable. Sweet and passionate connection between them. Tony has been falsely accused of a crime in Venice, so he’s been incognito for about 10 years and hasn’t returned to Venice. Despite the danger of returning, there’s something calling to Tony in Venice; he doesn’t know what it is, but he just knows that’s where he needs to be. Some very shady things are happening in Venice, but luckily, Tony and Cara end up on the same path. Cara and Tony end up being bodyguards for a damsel type of girl that is in danger. Love the Venice setting, love the action! Entertaining, fun read! Excited for the next book!!

Fire Maidens Greece

Another fun one! Love the sweet and spicy romance! Love the shifter action and suspense! Entertaining story! The Greece setting was wonderful too! Dragon shifter Theo and Zoe have great chemistry. Theo returns back to Greece, but he doesn’t have the best reputation there, so he needs to prove himself a bit. He’s also being pressured by his father to marry; luckily, he meets Zoe! Zoe stands up for herself; love her sass and strength. The fire maiden premise has some cool magical aspects; I enjoy the different elements that each fire maiden brings to this series. I’ve enjoyed this whole series! Excited for more!

Fire Maidens Switzerland

This has been such a fun series! Loved “going” to all the different countries, and the different types of shifters. Enjoyed when couples from the previous books came together in this book. Good action, sweet and steamy romance, interesting premise and likable characters! Dragon shifter Claudia and bear shifter Heath are too cute! Claudia was in the know about her being a Fire Maiden, but isn’t too happy that her freedoms are restricted because of it. Heath is one of her new bodyguards; love the bodyguard romance angle. Romance and danger ensue! Entertaining, exciting book and series!
