Control. That’s where I excel.
Everything in my life is rigidly planned, nothing ever takes me by surprise, until her.
Wren Jacobs.
I swear the woman was put on earth to drive me insane. She's too young, too beautiful, my daughter's best friend, and one of my best friend’s daughters. In other words, completely off limits.
And for one weekend she's the art curator assigned to help me pick up my newest painting.
My only job is keep my hands off the forbidden woman almost twenty years my junior. Every whisper of Daddy Wilson that falls from her lips drives me closer to forgetting my rules and realizing this nightmare might be the fantasy I need for the night.
Even if one night could be enough, will everyone finding out destroy it all?

Let's not lie here the narration performed by Sebyo as Coach and Anine Granda
Wren was toe-curling perfection on another level.

Okay, let’s talk about Finding Out by Jenni Bara because I’m OBSESSED. This book had everything I love—age gap romance, forbidden vibes, and a swoony, confident male lead who just gets it. Tom "Daddy Wilson" and Wren Jacobs' story hooked me from page one, and I couldn't put it down.
Wren has been teasing Tom for years, calling him "Daddy Wilson" and shamelessly flirting, but Tom has been seeing her differently for a long time too. He’s kept his feelings in check because, well… she's his daughter’s best friend. But when the two of them end up stuck together on a work trip to NYC, all bets are off. The tension? Off. The. Charts.
What really sold me on this book, though, is Tom. He’s not some wishy-washy guy who doesn’t know what he wants. He’s mature, grounded, and totally swoon-worthy. The way he calls Wren "baby girl" (and makes it work)? Yeah, I’m officially ruined for anyone else. Normally, that nickname isn’t my thing, but coming from Tom? I’m a puddle, just like Wren.
Now, I have to talk about THE “finding out” moment. When their secret comes out during Avery’s pre-wedding festivities, I was completely caught off guard. Tom is so calculated, so intentional, and always in control, so the way it all unraveled was a total shocker—but in the most exciting way. I was kicking my feet in the air and squealing as everything started to unfold. It was thrilling and chaotic in the best way possible, and wow, Jenni did not disappoint.
The family dynamics added so much depth to the story, especially Avery’s reaction. I knew she’d be upset, but I wasn’t expecting her to freeze them out like that. It felt so real, though, and it made the eventual resolution even sweeter.
This book wasn’t even supposed to exist in Jenni’s Boston Revs Three Outs series, and yet it feels like the perfect addition. It’s like their story demanded to be told, and I am so here for it. If you’re into age-gap romances with forbidden vibes and loads of heart, do yourself a favor and pick this one up.
Oh, and if anyone knows where I can find a real-life Daddy Wilson, let me know, okay? I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

If you’re looking for a romance that slides headfirst into home and delivers on a great balance of sweet and spicy, this book will not disappoint.
From the start, the tension between Wren and Tom sizzles. The banter is sharp, the stolen glances are electric, and when the snowstorm traps them together, the sparks burst into flames. Their chemistry is undeniable and this grump hides all the tenderness beneath the surface. Despite his gruff exterior, Tom shows a soft and caring side when it comes to Wren, making their connection all the more swoon worthy.
Sebastian delivered an outstanding performance, embodying every ounce of broody and grumpy silver fox “Daddy Wilson”. Every pang of frustration, all the subtle pining and longing was so authentic and completely on point. A perfect casting for an age gap!
Janine was the perfect Wren with her youthful tone that struck a wonderful balance between flirty sass and mature sophistication. Together their performance elevated the story and brought it to life for me!
Daddy Wilson!
