Finding Me is a deep reflection on my past and a promise for my future. My hope is that my story will inspire you to light up your own life with creative expression and rediscover who you were before the world put a label on you.

A beautiful memoir of strength in vulnerability
This memoir opens up Viola in ways that make you appreciate her craft while bringing you in on Viola the person. It’s like listening to her while she sits across the kitchen counter. I absolutely loved the relationships she has with her family. I resonated with her story, in Africa if you are going to make it, you have to stick together as family. I found myself in Viola’s memoir of finding herself. Her narration made the memoir even more beautiful ❤️

Finding me || A story many can relate to
The performance was nothing short of amazing. The story started were I expected it to start from the beginning however this meant the end was abit rushed. I wish she dwelled more on the now. The struggles and the beauty now.

Painfully honest, heartwarmingly beautiful
This audiobook is just as amazing as Viola Davis herself. Thank you Viola, for sharing your story - it made me understand the reason for all the sadness and all the emotions in your eyes during all of your performances. A heavy, but definitely a must listen.
