Heitch whining through the story was nearly intolerable.
When he reading through, he's fine, but the emotional outbursts are cringe.

Good sciFi

Love the story. Good characters and voice talent pulls you in. Love the boy and dog angle.

Solid with a few unexpected twists

the writing is decent, better than a lot of what is available in this genre. overall I've enjoyed these books, the 1st in thr series being my favorite of thr trilogy (so far, at least)

The dog and dog alien equivalent are people best friends. All aliens are just people.

Captivating story

The story continued without any moments of boring filler. The characters were all involved in the action. I want to hear more of this book.

Great continuation of a really fun series

Well done all around, really cannot wait for the next 2 installments to come out in December and March!

Good read but it could be more succinct in places

The storyline, the characters and the thought put in were all extremely good. My only minor frustration was that in more than one place, it took a while to resolve some of the subplots. Overall, I recommended it.

Rewarded with betrayal, crew embarks on vengeance

After their recent successes, Fin, Jacques, Renata, Drake, Audrey, & Theta are kicked out of the Rangers Corp based on trumped up charges. Going on the run, they continue their investigations into the illicit trade of genetically bred violent creatures. A long awaited reunion for one of the crew members ends up being treachery for the remainder of the crew. With the help of some unexpected friends, they find the means to turn their tide of misfortunes around.
