A great mafia romance
Filthy Deal, the third book in the Anti-Hero Chronicles, is an engaging mafia romance. The characters are well-developed, and the storyline captures the attention and holds it, loaded with suspense, drama, passion, and steam. Two sisters, Rain, and Mazzy visit Sin City, Las Vegas, but things take an unexpected turn and become dangerous after Rain witnesses something she shouldn't have.
Excellent narration by Laurie West; she did a fantastic job with characters, bringing them to life. Overall, the Filthy Deal was an entertaining listen, one I'll strongly recommend. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Raine and Nico
Raine and her sister went to Las Vegas for a party. On a ride back to their hotel, The Venetian, her sister is taken by their Uber driver and chats him up. The driver tells them he is off after he drops them off. He ends up back at their room. Raine leaves the room so they can spend some intimate time together. Little does Raine and her sister know that the Uber driver is part of a sex trafficking ring and he takes her. While Raine is away from the room giving them time, she meets Nico and a man hanging around with him and invites them for drinks are the bar. The man with Niko ends up stealing her purse, Nico runs after him and Raine runs after Niko and the man. Niko kills the man, who is also part of sex trafficking. Unfortunately, Raine sees this and Nico takes her with him to protect her. A lot happens in this book and Raine does some stupid things. She even escapes from Niko’s compound. She ends up getting captured more than once by the bad people. Someone in Nico’s inner circle will betray him because he is involved with this sex trafficking ring. This was a really good book that I stayed up until after 3:00 a.m. to finish (even though I had to go to work in the morning). There was a nice ending for Raine and Nico. Would love to see them in later books. Laurie West did a very good job with the narration. I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
