Empowering and encouraging

I absolutely loved this book and I plan on listening to it again so it can sink in better. It is great for parents who are nervous about sending kids to public school or struggle with how to handle real world situations. I feel more equipped and confident trusting God and living in confidence rather than fear. 🩷

Great read!

While there were a few points I didn't fully agree with, I was overall very pleased with this book. She pointed out things I hadn't thought of, gave great ideas and resources, and really drove home the need for parents to put their priorities straight.

Must for EVERY parent ! It doesn’t matter if first time parent or 11 time parent! This book is awesome

Pregnant with my first child, calmed my nervous.

Raising kids these days scared me more then I would like to admit. But I am over half way there and was told about this book and so thankful I read it. All the worries I had where answered in this book and made me feel good that I wasn’t the only one who thought about these topics. Super educational, spiritual and comforting!

Must read!!

If you have a baby or teenager, this book is for you. I love how Sarah lays out showing your kids how to practice the way of Jesus.

This book needs to be required reading for every parent. So many amazing applicable take aways.

Best parenting book

I’ve read quite a few parenting books and this is by far in my top favorites. I love her perspective on raising kids in the world, but not of it. A lot of books have great content, but very little to no practical application. This book has great content and is full of scripture to back it up, but it also has very simple, practical application. I listened to this book in one day, and I feel so excited to now apply these things in my home. I also really like Sarah’s voice, which usually is a deal breaker for me when I’m choosing audio books. I look forward to hopefully more books from this author!

Great reminder for parents, slightly repetitive tho

Good points and encouraging. Just didn’t totally wow me with content, so story line was 3. Think overall a 4/5 because the message was clear and well delivered. Itt was a good reminder and came to me at precious time in my life as my daughter starts kindergarten in a public school!

Too religious…

Would have preferred more practical advice vs bible rhetoric.

Even as a believer, it was hard to follow the logic.
