So hard to press pause, love Ford and Quinn

Ford and Quinn have become my favourite Starlight Cove couple, their story is hard to pause.
The audio just adds that next level to Fearless Heart. Joe Arden and Emma Wilder sound amazing together. And Joe Arden is a perfect Ford *fans self*
Fearless Heart is overflowing with laughter, fun and endless sparring banter between Ford and Quinn. The chemistry between them is electric and is constantly ranging from a furious simmer to a five alarm fire. The family text chat is snort laughingly funny.
Beneath the lightness of this book though, Brighton Walsh has added a deeper undertone. Quinn is trying valiantly to move out from under the trauma of her childhood and narcissistic parents. Unfortunately she is stuck working for a misogynistic boss while trying to work towards her dreams. And that’s where her high school rival Ford comes in with what could be a solution to her problems. Ford is the ultimate swoon worthy book boyfriend who does everything he can to be the caring, thoughtful and thoroughly attentive ‘husband of convenience’. However the lessons from her parents run deep and Ford’s playboy image pushes at Quinn’s insecurities.
There are several small grand gestures from both Ford and Quinn throughout and each of them melted my heart. I love how these two communicate, not always perfectly, but ultimately they bare their hearts and trust the other to hold it with care.

This narrative of this hot, sexy small town fake marriage love story is perfection! I love this family and the love interests they find, but Ford and Quinn are my new favorites!

Hot damn is this a fabulous listen! Who cares about the story lol - it was fabulous too, but didn’t matter! Ford.is.amazing! Quinn doesn’t know her worth - Quinn helps her see/feel it!! 🔥🥵🌶️ it’s fantastic!

Yep, I am absolutely squealing for Quinn and Ford. They are hands down the perfect pair, and I think that was evident throughout the story. I love a good “we hated eachother back in high school” facade turned marriage! Everything about this book was great! I quite literally devoured it in less than 12 hours!

Let’s talk to audio - HOLY FREAKING HELL JOE ARDEN. This was hands down one of THE hottest audios I have heard in awhile. There is truly something about the way he says “kitten”.. that’ll do it every single time. Joe always smashes it out of the park. Every single time.

4.5/5⭐️ 4/5🌶️ 5/5🎧 “In the words of my friend @lanelane04, “Ford my wife’d the hell out of Quinn.” This book was HEAVY on the my wife trope. Ford was so swoonworthy and Quinn was a strong, driven woman. I loved their rivalry and miscommunication. Such a great listen.
