Resumen del Editor

Even in the 23rd century, it’s hard to find lasting love. Unless you cash in your life savings and sign up for Gen-Mate, a genetic matchmaking service, with a 99.3 percent success rate. It’s been proven: People who use Gen-Mate will find their soul mate and live happily ever after.

Despite the data, Annora Jones is not convinced. Great job, great condo, great friends, disastrous love life, but she’s still not willing to spit in the Gen-Mate cup of love. Even as she watches her closest friends take the plunge, Annora digs in her heels. The thing that finally does push her over the edge, is a glimpse into the future. One tiny sliver of family drama that, for Annora, brought about this life-changing revelation: “I’m turning into my mother.”

A thought more frightening than surrendering her heart to science. She spits into the cup. Who knew? This single act would open a floodgate of problems that Annora could never have imagined.

Fear of Falling…and Falling Again, is a futuristic romantic comedy, which celebrates the gift of family, friends, and love in all varieties.

I want to live in the 23rd century!!!

I really enjoyed this book. The writer did a good job and putting us in the 23rd century. The characters were relatable. And I was surprised at how much humor there was and what was basically a love story. I also enjoyed the dynamic of mother and daughter. there was a good intergenerational thing there. The narrator was awesome. I love her voice. she had a great range and did a good job capturing the emotions. overall I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good futuristic Love story, with some laughs mixed in too.
