Craig Beck
Craig Beck is one of the fittest, healthiest and most toned people you will ever meet. So why is he known around the world as ‘Fat Guy Friday’?
In truth that’s exactly what he used to be.. a big fat guy! Until one day he said enough is enough and broke the cycle of yo-yo dieting that had plagued his life.
On Friday 10th September 2010 he stood on the scales at a depressing 252 lbs. He was the heaviest he had ever been, something as simple as walking up a flight of stairs would leave him gasping for air, he struggled to play games with his children and was the most miserable he had ever been.
A former hypnotist, Craig knew that problems in life are primarily the result of dysfunctional programmes running in the subconscious mind, which are creating the very things we are unhappy with. Whilst he was building a system to deal with his own ever-expanding waistline he discovered two common traits shared by virtually all-overweight people. By removing these two secret problems he found that no matter who tried his system lost weight. Better than that, at no point did any of them report being hungry, irritable, or unhappy during the process.
In Fat Guy Friday, Craig pulls no punches and delivers a wake up call designed to change your life for the better, forever! The two reasons why you are overweight. Why every diet you have ever tried has failed. What the diet industry doesn’t want you to know. The secrets only slim people know. How to lose weight and feel great without feeling hungry, ever! Feel better and more healthy than you ever thought possible.

Would you consider the audio edition of Fat Guy Friday to be better than the print version?
Well spoken and written. I never get tired of listening to this guy. He has a good energy about him that makes this easy to listen to again and again. What does Craig Beck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His AttitudeDid you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed at the situations described because I have heard them all before. It helps to be able to relate to what you hear from other people. While the concepts may not be entirely new, the medium in which they were presented makes it a pleasurable listen. To the Point

Great book highly recommended

Now I blame myself, I really enjoyed Control Alcohol so I bought this right after. Listening to two in a row was hard to take when the content was practically identical.
80% same as his other books

Any additional comments?
There is nothing worse than picking up an audio book, putting on the headphones, and realizing the narrator's voice is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Craig is a master at narrating and it truly comes through in his emotion throughout the book.I have studied nutrition for years and spent over a decade in industry. What you will learn in this book are the facts. The truth about what you are putting in your mouth and why your waistline is responding to it. If you think about all the poisons in our country and the world, and the booming pharmaceutical market, any rational mind cannot help but come to the conclusion that not only are we getting fatter and sicker, but those things are in place by design.
Why is 80% of our super market (probably being charitable here) "food" that comes in a box? PROFIT. It has nothing to do with keeping you alive and nourishing you. In fact it's causing a slow death.
While Craig may be slightly redundant on material with this and his other books as some other reviewers have stated, I can only ask "How redundant can you get with the fundamentals of your brain?". Repetition being the mother of skill, when you get Craig's books and listen to them you begin to connect the dots and start seeing how our minds actually work.
By losing weight using the techniques in this book, and learning exactly WHY you got that way in the first place, you're going after the actual cause and not the symptoms. I know several people who got lap band surgery that are now the exact same person emotionally, with the same beliefs, just in a smaller body now. Pity they didn't get a hold of this book first.
If you're a drinker, don't expect to get this book and still be able to have your "healthy" two (or more) glasses of wine per night. If you read that and the first thought that came in to your head was "Oh I have to have my wine", then you have a drinking issue. I only say this because I too believed it. I think Craig is a gifted individual who goes after root causes and tells it like it is. This is difficult for most people to grasp, as they are so conditioned for the quick fix and the easy way. And with so many mental distractions in the world now and it only going to get worse, you'd better grab hold of your thoughts and get control now.
A Must Read if You're Overweight
