Truly one of the best

I think we've listed to this 7 or 8 times. It is so great. Cherry Jones is the perfect narrator for this family. Her voice is so earnest and she captures the different personalities of each character. Love everything about this one.

I love the story teller and her wonderful tone and expressions. This is a wonderful story of growing up at a time when one must be creative with resources at hand. I remember reading this as a young girl and now I enjoy it as a grandmother. I will share with the grandkids!

The entire Little House series on Audible is wonderful! I own all of them & have listened to each book several times, alone and/or with my children. Highly recommend it to teachers, parents, homesteaders, and/or anyone who wants to be pleasently immersed in beautifully descriptive stories that share what life was like for countless generations before ours! I could write pages defining why each of these books has come to be a good friend, but it'd likely be best for you to experience for yourself. Enjoy!
