Enjoyable and adorable

I absolutely loved every one of Ms. Matis' stories and characters! I laughed, sighed and cheered for their happily ever afters and their struggles to get there! I will definitely buy more of her books! The narrator however irritated the hell out of me by literally dragging the last word in the majority of sentences out to a ridiculous point so I will be honest and say this group of audible stories would of been 5 stars but got 4 stars because of the narrator

Great Football Stories

All four books was great stories and beautiful writing and they all got their happy ends I wonder the author of the books planning to write more box set book I love the football series

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book but really I am not a fan of this Narrator at all. So the book has a story line and some hotness but oh my goodness this Narrator just doesn't do it any justice so I rated story as a 4 because truly it has the nice and sweetness but a little naughtiness to go with it which I can really appreciate.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite Characters would have to be Samantha and Ryan from the first story. They just set the bar to me for the set and gave so much more than the others.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The Narrator just didn't do anything extra to me she just read the book and dragged some of the story that could have been really hotter.

Do you think Fantasy Football Romance - Box Set: Seasons 1-4 needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I think a follow up book would be nice. Samantha and Ryan need a baby so yes I would love to here more about them.

Overall the story is good but goodness I wish a better Narrator was used so that the overall wouldn't be a 3 out of 5 stars.

this was a good set to listen to andvinlijed them but jyst not my type of book. they were well writen and narrated just not the type i like.

The prenuptial agreement! Was both really funny and showed the true character of Liam :)

The proposal in the last book. It was perfect and poignant :)

This is a fun chicklit series that centers around a professional football team and second chances both at love and at life. The characters are likeable and relatable as well as believable. There is plenty of humor and a lot of steamy love scenes to keep any contemporary romance lover happy! I really enjoyed the listening experience and hope the author finds a reason to continue the series as I am not quite ready to leave this world yet. Each book has its own HEA,



***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy chicklit steamy sports romances with a HEA and a good dose of humor :)

Light, fun and sexy football rom series!

Enjoyable series :-) I enjoy the author's insider knowledge of football and the sense of humor she puts into her characters. Just the right amount of conflict, nicely written sex scenes (hot but never crude) and interesting, entertaining characters.

I was so excited to get this book but I can't get through it. I love the story and the characters but the narrator is killing me. She's. Horrible. I'm going to download the Kindle version because I really want to continue the story. Just not with this narration.

Hot sports romances!

I love Liz Matis. This box set of 4 stories just solidifies my love of her stories. Fantasy Football gives us 4 different women and their journey to their relationship with the man of their dreams. Little did they know that each one would choose a man that is a football player for the Detroit Cougars. Each strong woman has their own story. I especially loved Hannah and Jake. Something about them finding each other and making their relationship work with their two very demanding careers had me routing for them from the first book in this series. I was glad this was book two so I didn't have to wait too long.

If you enjoy sport romances, this is for you. Romance, a little suspense, hot sex and gorgeous men...you will love it.

Christine Padovan delivers another great performance. She is able to transfer the same voices for each character from book to book and bring the whole thing to life.

Football and Romance - Great Combination and Set

Fantasy Football Romance Box Set Season 1-4 consists of four books, Playing for Keeps, Going for It, Huddle Up, and The Quarterback Sneak. The two best stories are Playing for Keeps and Going for It.

Playing for Keeps is about Samantha Jameson and Ryan Terrell. Samantha is an investigator reporter coming back from Iraq over an incident gone bad which she is responsible for. Being a sport journalist is a change in pace for her except she has always had a crush for Ryan Terrell. She uncovered a steroid scandal which could ruined the career for one of Ryan's teammate. Could she trust Ryan and could she decides which is important to her, the story or Ryan?

Going for It is Hannah Hahn and Jake Miller's story. Hannah has played a hand in matchmaking Samantha and Ryan with Jake's help. Hannah has never stayed in a relationship and has been labeled as the notorious man-eater by reputation. When Jake wanted more from Hannah, Hannah tried to end their relationship. Of course, Samantha was going to pay Hannah in kind for matchmaking her and Jake.

Going for It has a nicely played storyline of self-image. Hannah, even though she is a highly demanded supermodel, is dealing with her self-image past and present. Readers/listeners will love Jake for making her realized that beauty is inside out.

Huddle Up is Angel O'Malley and Billy Burner's story. Angel is forced to sue Billy for past child support believing that he has abandoned her and that her father has gambled away her bar and left her with nothing. As Billy tried to connect with his five-years old daughter, Billy has discovered the two people that kept him and Angel apart. Readers/Listeners will love Samantha, Ryan, Hannah, and Jake's appearance in this story.

The Quarterback Sneak is Hayden Middleton and Liam McQueen's story. Hayden has tried her best in getting her father's attention but ended up as the wild party girl. Liam is a recovering alcoholic who is trying to find a balance between his faith in God and the football fame that made him lose his way. Both discovered that each are trying a secret. Readers/Listeners will missed Samantha and Ryan's appearance in this story.

The narrator, Christine Padovan does a wonderful job in narrating these four stories. By the time the fourth story is narrated, the narrator seemed to have lost some emotion steam. However, the listeners will enjoyed all four books.

The author did a great job in writing all four sport romance stories on four different themes. This is an author that readers/listeners will look forward to in sport romance.
