I could not tell the correct order of these episodes and ended up listening to them backwards.

I did not like that these episodes did not say the order they should be listened to.

My goodness!

How awesome was this? It took me a few minutes to get used to the narrator’s very deep voice, but once I did he was easy to understand. Loved the voice used for the Boy. The story was quintessential Del Toro. The Boy was neither good nor bad, he just was - like the rock waves crash upon. This story was fascinating but the story of how humanity deals with the force of nature coming for it would also be engrossing.

Excellent-with some tweaks

Like another reviewer-I had a very hard time understanding the narrator. He’s got an incredibly deep voice and it buzzes when I play through my phone. I upped the playback speed to 1.2x, and put headphones in with “speech” equalizer and it made all the difference. Now that I can understand the narration-the story is good-it’s an easy listen and fast paced. I actually find the narrator compliments the story, as he has a flat affect, which lends to the bleak feel of the story. I’m on book 3 now, and I’m happy I pushed through!

3.5-4 stars so far

Good setup, I liked the descriptions and details. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the narrator at first, but I do like him. Interested in the rest of the story for sure,

Though I was concerned with the depth and tone of our narrator, it took nothing away from what sounds to be a very interesting tale.

Let down by unique but hard to understand narrator

Agreed with everyone complaining about the narrator. I guess I can see how his voice creates a unique atmosphere for a series like this, but it's also simply hard to understand esp if you're playing it on speaker.

I don't think it's worth sacrificing clarity for ~vibes.

Interesting Choices

Good story, I'm, enjoying the atmosphere and mystery, but as much as I love Ralph Ineson's work as an actor his voice is too deep to understand at times.

Intriguing

The rest of this story begs to be read. Love the mystery and the hint of Pandora's Box.

Rough narration

narrator was way to hard to understand. story was interesting enough to continue but I won't be getting the audiobook because this is awful to listen to.
