Great series! Definitely underrated.
I was definitely missing the spice in this novel and the ending felt rushed to me. I didn’t like the very ending because it felt contrary to Mercy spending so much time on school/work in previous books. The story was very good and the evolution of characters was interesting to follow. Overall, I loved the series as a whole and can’t wait to read again!

So many twist

Book 2 and 3 were significantly better.
Not to say this one was all bad, but I came here for spicy romance...not torture scenes. I was quite uncomfortable with most of this book just waiting for everything to get 'fixed'.
I feel it ended well and I enjoyed this series a lot! Just not anything with Bane. :(
