Fall of Us is book two in the Season of Change series. It's got best friends who learn to become lovers and all the feels. While it can be read as a standalone, it is best enjoyed in order.

Fall of Us

Fall of Us was a gread listen, and Oliver was great yet again! In Fall of Us the second book of the Season of Change series we get to meet Andrew and Brandon. This Oliver did a great job of narrating this story. Joelle created such a well developed plot, with amazing characters.

Best Friends to Lovers

Friends to lovers is one of my all time favorite tropes. This book embodies that trope entirely. Brandon and Andrew have been best friends since childhood. They’ve both been in love with each other for years but don’t want to ruin their friendship. They act like a couple though. The codependency is real!

Going from BF to lovers is not an easy road

Fall of Us is book two of the Season of Change series and follows the story of Brandon and Andrew, our resident best friends since childhood, who tried to run away from their feelings for years because they were scared to lose each other. Totally normal, huh?

What they didn't expect was that one moment in time that will change the course of their lives forever. When the love is this big, you can run as fast and as far away as possible, but the outcome will be the same one... it will catch up with you.

The universe has a silly sense of humor, it just takes some time to figure it out, and thank God Brandon did figure it out in the end, because I needed these two to get their heads out of their a... and be together.

We first get a glimpse of Brandon and Andrew in "Summer of You," and idk how they thought they could hide anything when even us, the readers that spent like 3 sentences with them in the previous book could tell that they were made for each other.

Look, I'm usually not a fan of best-friends-to-lovers because of the miscommunication, and this book had that, of course, but I think the way these two were together made me forget about it and just enjoy the story. I didn't lose too much time dwelling on that, thank fk.

I think this was the case because I know how hard it is to get from friends or best friends to lovers irl. It's one thing to love someone as your friend, be comfortable with them as your friends, and then become lovers. That's an entirely different ball game. It takes time, it makes you scared of losing the other person, it can be a mess, and that's why I gave these guys a break and didn't judge them too much.

It was nice to see the other guys in this book, spend so much time with them, and also see how the others ( the couples from the upcoming books ) are acting now, before everything unfolds for them as well.

Joelle's stories are always super cute & sweet, one of the reasons I always come back.

If you are a fan of audiobooks, I highly recommend listening to this series since Oliver Williams is doing a phenomenal job. I love his narrating style. The way he acts and makes you feel the emotion of the characters is such a nice bonus. It truly enhances the experience.

I don't only recommend this book, but the whole series. These guys are all so amazing, even though Joe will still be forever my fav character out of them all. It's just something about him, but more about him in his book, read all of these before you get there, you will love Nathan & Chase, Andrew & Brandon, Shawn & Daniel for sure. There is just no other way.

This is amazing audio and the narrative is one of my favorites. He is very good at bringing the stories alive. I enjoyed listening to this story.

Those Meddlesome Best Friends

Clueless bffs to more is always one of my favorite stories to read. Not I got to listen. The narrator did a good job bringing this story to life.

These two were so oblivious to how to handle their feelings for each other. That could be frustrating sometimes but they were cute so you gave them a pass.

They had to complicate things so much before finally getting things right. It’s a cute fluffy story that that you will enjoy.
