Standalone in the Seasonal Singles series

This was a cute, clean romance read / listen. I really enjoyed the overall storyline, it flowed smoothly and was easy to follow. Some of it was a bit sudden but overall, I thought this was a well written best friends romance. Sweet with no steam. Our main characters are Marshall and Felicia and the story is told from Felicia's point of view. I liked that their friendship was firmly in place, and they already had a routine. I thought there was a lot of extra descriptions or characters that didn't necessarily serve a purpose. Narration was good but I think could have been better with dual narration. There were times that the vocals seemed stilted but overall, not bad. I think this was a cute and sweet listen - good but not great. There were areas that more humor or conversational dynamics could have added more punch. I liked the small town feel and the festival vibe for this season. I'm looking forward to the other seasonal books in this series.

Cute story!

Felicia Ellway's mother has been calling her all day, but she has no desire to listen to her mother tell her how happy her married cousin is. Her roommate, Kit, suggests that she fake an engagement, just to get her mom off her back. Felicia's best friend since forever is Marshall Jackson. He works at the bakery and has been in love with Felicia since they met, making him the prime candidate as Felicia's fiance. They do their job so convincingly that it only takes a short while before they both understand that it's not fake, it's forever.
Sally Barron does a wonderful job with the narration. Her voice is well-modulated and lively, and she sounds as if she's having a good time as she reads.

Lovely 😍 Fun FALL Romance

I loved this well performed romance novel set in a small town full of positive, helpful people...ahhhhh...such a relief from our real life of angst.

A sweet romance

This was a sweet romance between two best friends who were afraid to tale the next step. A fake engagement was all they needed to realize that they both wanted more.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.

Sweetest Romance

Small town romance that is perfectly endearing. Reminds me of Hart of Dixie or Sweet Magnolia. Just good wholesome small town life with best friends to lovers trope. So easy to step into this story and imagine all the characters becoming a part of your daily life. If you like sweet romance without the spice, I recommend this story to you 10 times over.

The narrator seems so familiar like a best friend sharing her story over coffee. And what a story it is.
