Cute Romace

I want a cuppa
I stumbled upon this book a few days ago. I prefer books that are narrated by a Brit and it takes place in the UK ( double win). I have visited England/Scotland and though I haven't been everywhere there, I understand it so in a book like this, I understand it and can truly envision me walking thru the village. The story is cute and real and warm and a bit Hallmark, but I LIKE THAT!!! I have encountered each of these characters somewhere in my life and even my daughter's name appeared.....it was meant for me to listen. Though BFF Karen could have made more appearances. I couldn't stop listening. I wanted to know what was going to happen with Stevie. the addition of Betty made my heart glow❤️. Little did I know, this was a series....there's more! If you're reading this unsure .....know there's a good bit of twist, adornment, silly, clever, and romance. I really enjoyed this book. looking forward to finishing the series.

An enjoyable clean romance book
I really enjoyed this book. It was clean. funny and exciting. Some parts had me laughing like, Nick running out of the tea shop; other parts had me shaking my head, at her family; and other parts gave me joy at kindness, revelations, and outcomes.
If you're tired of having to skip over paragraphs and chapters because you want to skip over sex scenes to get to what happened next, then this is the book to read. This author doesn't have to use sex scenes to fill in for lack of substance. She actually has ideas to fill in those areas.

Meh.
not a fan. narrator voiced LFC as a complete air head. the story I got bored with. I enjoy a cute romance every now and then. but there was barely a relationship between the love interest. not an author I'll pick up again.

I can't read about stupid people and the lead female is a moron. I didn't get past chapter 7. If stupid but sweet women don't bother you give it a listen.
