That’s when things get complicated. I thought I had her all figured out until I found out there was more underneath her judgmental sneers and eye rolls. It feels like everything is coming together for the future I really want - with Lena - until my past ruins everything.

But, seriously? This guy can’t keep a woman off when she tries to make moves on him but he can let one walk out the door? Books like this drive me insane…and I don’t really mind. The only thing is, the ‘ex’ card has been overplayed.

Oh Teddy, you make everything sound good. Erin was manageable this time.

Loved It!

This series just gets better and better. Common situation among professional athletes mixed with romance and drama. The enemies to lovers trope works well between Ford and Lena.

Great Story!

Loved the book , however, I did not like the female narrators attempt at sounding like a man. It was so irritating I almost did not finish the book but enjoyed the story so much I tolerated it.

Hockey Romance Success!

This series is so good. I have been waiting for this book and Piper Rayne did not disappoint with this single dad hockey player romance. Great story and narration!

This series just keeps getting better!

I devoured this whole series! Each book was better than the last … and with this one being narrated by 2 of my all time favorites, well I couldn’t stop listening! I enjoyed every twist and ever bump along the way. Ford with Annabel *swoon*!!!

I can't get enough of this series and I couldn't wait to listen to Ford's story.

A hot hockeyplayer AND single dad??? Yummy
And you just knew from before that he is that kind of guy who needs a strong woman by his side.
Of course that's Lena. Their lovestory has enough ups and downs, but they find their way.

My fvourite so far

This is the third book in the latest series from Piper Rayne. Faking It With #41 was a fabulous addition to Piper Rayne’s latest series. I love stories with single dads and that is what hockey player for Florida Fury Ford Jacobs now is . His father is persistent in trying to get Ford to retire and join the family business, which is where Lena Boyd, the Jacobs’ family PR representative comes into the equation.
When his father requests he pretend to be engaged to Lena in exchange for no longer being pushed to join the family business, Ford jumps at the chance. Of course the best laid plans often go astray and things quickly become complicated between Ford and Lena.
What happens when Ford’s past comes back and throws a spanner into the relationship that he is building with Lena? I really liked Ford and I knew that there was more to him than what he let show? However I didn't realize how much more there really was and I quickly fell for him.
I love Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon's narration. They did justice to the story and brought the characters to life for me.
All he really wants to do is be the best dad he can be to baby Annabelle and my heart melted whenever he was with her.
I loved this story and cannot wait to see what Piper Rayne has in store for this addictive series.

Wonder narration to go with a wonderful story

Book 3 in the Hockey Hotties Series and for me this book is the best so far, this is certainly a series that is getting better and better with each read and that’s hard to do when you fall hard and fast for each of the hero’s. If single dads and sports romance is your jam you will definitely want to one click Ford and Lena’s entertaining, witty and at times emotional romance.
Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a fantastic job with the narration and not only were they easy to listen to they also brought the characters and their story to life. They were spot on with the banter and every other emotion that runs through this book but where they excelled was with the passion!!!!!
Ford has the world at his feet, he is at the top of his game and loving being the playboy hockey star but his world is turned upside down when his baby daughter is left with him because her mother has decided she isn’t ready for motherhood. From that point on he decides he is going to be the best daddy that little girl could ever have and if that means cleaning up his act then that’s what he will do and that’s where Lena comes in.
Lena is the Family PR consultant and she is sent to Florida to spin the news reports circulating but her boss, Ford’s father also wants more from her, he wants her to marry his wayward son……
What starts off as fake soon turns into so much more, I fell hard and fast for Ford, I adored Lena and I loved everything about this wonderful read. I laughed, I smiled, I swooned and I sighed as I found myself wishing and hoping this could got the HEA they both so deserved. This book as you would expect from this talented duo is perfect in every way, it has the perfect mix of passion and humour, it has just enough drama to keep you on the edge of your seat and I highly recommend you one click this gem of a read.

I enjoyed the first book and the second book less and this book not that much. I won't be continuing the series.... bit of jerky guys including this one going to a strip club so that his friends can prove how much he loves the female character.... yuck all done with this series.

Love this series, how the team has each other’s back the camaraderie the rubbing it’s just a lot of fun. The love😍😍😍😍
