Classic fables, Dale Phillips-style
Fables and Fantasies offer 5 stories that seem familiar but aren’t. All who have heard classics such as the story of Rumpelstiltskin, are sure to be engaged and amused by the twists and turns Dale Phillips presents in his renditions. Fred Wolinsky uses nuance and accents in his skillful reading. I strongly recommend the audio for a night around the fireplace sipping some wine, or when commuting to work, as the stories have broad appeal with subtle jokes, surprising imagery, and a delightful little bit of randiness.
