Great Series!

This is a great series! I love the characters and how they navigate love unexpected!

Age gap rockstar romance. Jessica is Jake's younger sister. His band members know that family is off limits. But that didn't keep Daniel away from her. Jessica is not one of those fan girls that beg for his attention.
Daniel realizes if he wants to be with her, he will have to earn her respect. Their chemistry is electric and passionate.
Lacy Laurel and Alex Kydd narration is very good. I enjoyed listening to this series

Terrific Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

M. Jay Cranberry pens another terrific novel set in her “A Sin City Tale” series and I enjoyed everything about it, from her wonderful writing style to the interesting characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. The story is original, and it grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire book. The characters are complex, easy to relate to and connect with. Daniel Xu is the drummer for “Sin City”, he lives the life of a rockstar, a typical love them and leave them type of guy. Jessica Johnson is Jake’s younger sister and off limits for many reasons, but that does not stop him from wanting her. The chemistry between them was electric from the moment they first met, but Jess saw him for what he was, a player and dirty dog and winds up calling him out on it. This only piqued his interest further and the next time they meet he makes his move, but she is not like any of the woman he has been with and she throws him off his game. I thought these two were perfect together and for each other, though it took Daniel time to figure that out. It was great to see another side of him, his tight-knit family and how much he cared for his nai nai, his wise Grandma. There is never a dull moment in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of heartfelt and emotional moments, drama, both relationship and family, a touch of angst, and some hot romance. I am wondering what became of Jessica’s Mom and what she overheard in regards to Sin and Jake, hope there is more to come with that storyline. M. Jay Granberry, thank you for another great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Lacy Laurel and Alex Kydd are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They did a great job bringing the characters to life, giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow and tell who is who. Their portrayal of the characters was spot on, they had a complete understanding of each role they played, sounding believable in that role and just as I pictured they would sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the another great listen.

Age Gap Rock Star Romance

Exquisitely Yours by M. Jay Granberry is an age gap rock star romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel and Alex Kydd. This is the third book in the Sin City Tale series and each book can be read as a standalone.

This is the third book of M. Jay Granberry's that I have read and it definitely won't be last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the chemistry between Daniel and Jessica. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Lacy and Alex did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like rock star romances, age gap romances, forbidden romances, or contemporary romance.

Good

I loved the book and how the others in the series tied in. I was disappointed that there wasn’t an epilogue, and that we don’t know what happened with the mom and the situation that Jess walked in on. There are just too many things left unanswered. But it was good other than that

Exquisitely Yours

This is the third book in the Sin City Tales series. Jessie and Daniel's attraction was instant. They had a whirlwind romance. They shouldn't have worked as well as they did. I loved this series! Lacy Laurel and Alex Kydd did a fabulous job narrating this book.

My favorite of series

This is the first series I've read/listened to by M. Jay Granberry. Daniel and Jessica's story is my favorite! The bad boy/player finally falling in love absolutely squeezed my heart! I was completely invested in these two characters! I enjoy seeing characters from previous books. It adds so much depth. But I do think it could be listened to as a standalone.

Alex Kydd and Lacy Laurel are excellent narrators! Their performances were perfection. The book rolled like a movie in my head.

Just as I expected

I liked the previous book Exquisitely Broken and loved Exquisitely Hidden. I didn't expect much from this book because I didn't believe that Daniel Xu would make an interesting romantic main character since he always came off as an annoying, corny ladies man in the other books....and I was right. It was an okay "opposites attract" love story. The book became interesting when it revisited Sinclair James, the lead singer's attempted murder, but then abandoned it. It left me frustrated.
